Those that like to follow fashion trends know that autumn and winter are the perfect time to show off that more collected and glamorous look. I like hot days, but there’s something about that time of the year that fascinates me. Warm woollen jumpers, boots, warmer and darker colours… I love it! That’s why on today’s post we’re going to talk a little bit about the trends for this season that’s almost upon us. Hence, you can already start thinking about your outfits for the coldest days!

Fringes:

Fringes were already very well present last autumn/winter and this year they come back with many novelties! From blouses and coats to shoes and accessories, they’ve come to stay! I personally love leather bags and jackets with fringes in neutral colours, like brown and beige.

Faux Fur:

Faux fur is also a trend that’ll be present this season. I feel that this one divides people a little. There are some that love it and some that hate it. But we can’t all love the same thing, right? In fact, I’m sure that you’ve a faux fur coat or gloves you won’t be in any way cold during the coldest months.

Brown:

I’m absolutely sure that I’ll join this trend. I love using earth colours during winter! I don’t let go of my beige wool jumpers and my brown boots for anything! And I know that many of you also don’t! This season, we’ve skirts, ponchos, dresses and jumpers in several shades and variations of this colour and I’m already surrendered!

Knee high boots:

This is an essential accessory for this season! Either low or high heeled, leather or suede, neutral or colourful, you have to have a pair! In addition of keeping your legs warm, they’re ideal with dresses and skirts and with a wool jumper over them for a more informal, but at the same time feminine look!

60s and 70s:

I feel like this trend’s a mix of every other. High boots, earth colours and fringes come together to bring back these two decades that marked fashion history so much! Take advantage of the prints and go to the trunk to get those flares that you used to love!

However, remember that they’re only trends and at the end of the day you need to wear what you like and what you feel most comfortable with!
