Converse All Star Red – The quality and the style that make a difference!

A few days ago, I decided to buy my very own pair of Converse All Star sneakers at EscapeShoes. And, to be honest, it was a very hard decision to make. Of course, this had nothing to do with doubts regarding the quality of this American brand, but due to the big variety of colours that it has available. White, black, yellow, blue, grey, beige, burgundy… And then I still had to decide between low or high top! It seemed like an impossible decision, but now I couldn’t be happier with my choice. Truthfully, I always wanted a pair of Converse All Star sneakers. They are shoes that appeal to me due to their simple and casual style, which allows us to match with several looks. Besides, they are shoes that we can use daily, at work or in your spare time.

However, before this purchase, I admit that I already had a pair of similar sneakers, but with which I was honestly disappointed. So, before continuing, I would like to make this warning. These sneakers may seem alike at first glance, but it is here that the quality of the materials that Converse uses really makes the difference. After not much use, the canvas of these sneakers of mine tore, the sole started to unstick and the insole was practically inexistent, thus ensuring that my feet were completely unprotected.

It is for these reasons and more that I couldn’t be happier with this my recent purchase. I love their durable and flexible sole, their chunky and comfortable insole and their resistant canvas that is very pleasant to the touch. However, perhaps it is best that we go in order.

Then, we will first start with the element that probably stands out the most, which is their vibrant red colour. As I mentioned previously in the introduction of this post, it was very hard for me to choose between the several colours available. The variety that this brand offers is tremendous and the addition of this season’s new colours at EscapeShoes only made my choice more difficult. However, I decided to choose red, not only because it is one of my favourite colours, but also because I believe that it can be easily worn in spring, summer, autumn or winter, and I can also match it with other colours, for example, white, black, blue, green, yellow, pink, grey and brown, both in light and dark tones.

However, their canvas has another surprise besides its vivid colour, which cannot be appreciate at first glance. This is about the fact that was already mentioned that their canvas is very pleasant to the touch. However, only when you have your very own Converse All Star in your hands and wear them will you truly know how soft they are, both inside and outside. Thus, you will be able to even wear your sneakers without socks! And it is also important that you know that the canvas is really malleable, thus adapting really well to your feet with each movement as you walk, especially on the heel, which is also reinforced to protect you.

On the other hand, their insoles lined with this same fabric are truly comfortable and padded, something that is mostly due to their thickness, which allows you to have the best cushioning while you are walking, thus protecting your feet from the impact against the ground. Their white sole also contributes for this cushioning, thanks to its flexible and durable rubber, which follows each step you take, which gives me the urge to take them everywhere, either to walk around the neighbourhood, to walk the dog, for work or to go to the cinema and shopping. And, yes, even to cheer for my football team. 😉

As you probably already noticed, I cannot let my All Star Red sneakers go. They truly became my allies for the day-to-day. And the best of all is that they are super easy to keep clean! For that, you just need to wash them with water and soap. Therefore, wherever I may go, and with a little bit of care, I will have the perfect shoes to take everywhere.
