Felmini’s New Collection 2015 – Love at first sight

Guess who is back! Felmini has shown us once again the reason why it is considered one of the best footwear brands in Portugal with its new Spring Summer collection, full of absolutely irresistible ankle boots. However, as it was previously mentioned, there was a specific model that truly caught my attention. And it was the Taroff Poli Marron ankle boots. As you can see, they have Felmini’s unmistakable design, but also something that distinguishes them from the other models. I’m not even sure what it is… it is one of those je ne sais quoi. 😉

I was not ever one of those that like to walk in high heels, so these Poli Marron ankle boots are really my style. However, that is not the only reason why I feel so attracted. We will go in order…

To start, I love the colour of their leather! It seems that it presents a brown colour with slight shades of mustard yellow, which makes it more eye-catching. And their shaft gives a little contrast of colour, since it is made based of tangled straps made of fabric in a slightly lighter shade of brown. Furthermore, the fact that the shaft is not closed allows the air to circulate and even gives a cooler look to the boots.

However, what gives the biggest contrast to these Felmini ankle boots are their soles! They are made of malleable white rubber that makes them stand out even more. An interesting detail is the pattern that they present underneath, which is composed of the letters that form the name of this Portuguese brand, thus giving a unique and original touch to the boots, but also making these soles non-sticky.

And their heels also have a surprise for you. Did you think that they were also made of rubber? You’re wrong! Well, in fact they are made of sturdy and resistant wood hand painted in white, as it is customary from the brand. Thus, they provide you the stability that you need in your day-to-day.

And can you imagine the several types of clothes that you can use with these ankle boots? Trousers, jeans, skirts, shorts… they look great with everything! I am truly in love!
