Jael Correia’s Hunter boots – In high heels in the rain!

Your eyes don’t lie! These Original Chelsea Black boots have a high heel. In reality, high heeled shoes have been a big bet for this British brand in these last seasons, which has made a great effort to include even more elegant and stylish models, but with the same usefulness and water-resistance than its classic wellies.

To tell you the truth, this isn’t the first time that Jael bought a pair of Hunter at EscapeShoes, since she already bought the classic tall wellies.

With this in mind, we decided to do a small interview to Jael about her latest purchase, in which the first question that came to mind was if she has always been a Hunter’s fan, to which she answered…

JAEL – I confess that I’ve always dreamed of having a pair of Hunter boots. Worldwide, it’s a brand in vogue and known for its quality, so, if I had to had a pair of wellies, it had to be from Hunter!

Clearly, for Jael, having a pair of Hunter wellies has always been a long-standing dream!

However, there was another thing that caught our eye when we compared the two models that she had purchased, something that both share… Do you know what it is?

JOANA – At EscapeShoes, we’ve several Hunter with different designs and combinations of colours. However, both purchased models were black with a glossy finish. Is it for any specific reason?

JAEL – I love black, and I believe that it’s the colour that better fits into my style. It’s also very versatile to match with several clothes, in addition of the fact that, of course, glossy black is probably the most well-known finish from the brand.

Also together with the black Melissa flat shoes that we mentioned previously, it seems that we’ve unravelled Jael’s weakness! Black shoes! But that isn’t all that strange, since black’s a colour that easily matches with everything.

JOANA – What was your first impression when you opened the box and saw them for the very first time?

JAEL – It felt like Christmas! The box’s super classic and refined. They come very well wrapped in silk paper and bring a certificate from the brand. Simply perfect!

JOANA – When you tried them on and walked around with the wellies for the very first time, what did you feel?

JAEL – Freedom and comfort. They aren’t like those mushy and cold wellies. They’ve a very comfortable walk and they don’t hurt nor sweat your feet, thanks to their special lining.

JOANA – In which occasions do you usually use these Hunter? And with which type of clothes?

JAEL – In the day-to-day, at work, to go out to dinner, with relaxed as well as with more classic clothes. I think they’re very versatile. As long as it rains, a pair of Hunter boots never fails!

JOANA – Are there any occasions when you prefer to use these high heeled Hunter instead of the classic tall wellies?

JAEL – For work/school in the city, since I don’t want to arrive with drenched feet, but I want to keep my style without having a very heavy look like the ones with the tall boots.

JOANA – If you had to define these Hunter with three adjectives, which ones would they be?

JAEL – Comfortable, Versatile and Stylish!

Throughout this interview, it became obvious that Jael loves her new high heeled Hunter and that she’s already an unconditional fan of the brand. In fact, she even admitted to us that she’d like to have more 2 or 3 pairs to have more variety.

However, if she had to decide on her next purchase at EscapeShoes, Jael would prefer a lighter pair of shoes for spring. Do you have any suggestion to give her?
