That’s why on this EscapeShoes blog post, we’d like to seize the opportunity to talk about a brand that’s known worldwide for its boots, Palladium. Shall we?

And what better way to talk about Palladium than to talk about its newest autumn / winter collection 2017? But before that, do you know how this brand got started? It began in 1920 as it was making, you won’t believe it, aircraft tires, and it would place canvas bands under the vulcanized rubber tires, thus becoming the main supplier of all Europe. However, after the Second World War ended, the demand for aircraft tires dropped so it was decided to open a footwear factory in Pont-de-Chéruy, France, as the brand adopted their previous knowledge and resources of rubber and canvas. The result was extremely durable and comfortable boots, firstly worn only by explorers, but quickly gaining popularity among young adults in the 90s. It’s an interesting story, isn’t it? But I already know that want you really want to see is the new boots, so here they are!

For women

Ladies first! Despite Palladium being known for its boots, it’s surprising the variety that it’s able to offer of a single type of footwear. Just look for example at the first three pairs on the picture above! The Pampa Cuff String boots have a lower top but it’s especially padded and is in a different colour than the suede that they’re made of. And their greyish colour’s very soft and with a slight lilac touch, very feminine! But is there a more feminine colour than pink?
