Today on the EscapeShoes blog, we go back to the world of Melissa with its latest 2016 collection, in which we find some more familiar designs and other more original details, but always with the same incomparable quality, comfort and aroma, features that we’re already accustomed to seeing from the brand.

Combining fantasy and reality, in a pair of shoes made of Melflex, a malleable PVC derivative, with which it can give shape to its shoes and flats in a stunning way, thus creating models as special as the ones that we’ll see below.

We start with the most traditional models, and what is the most traditional from Melissa than a pair of flat shoes? The new Ultragirl Bow flat shoes demonstrate the best from this brand: they’re simple, but equally feminine, thanks to their bow on the toecap. However, contrarily to what we’ve seen in previous seasons, this bow’s slightly smaller and thinner, thus giving them a more subtle and delicate touch. On the other hand, for those that like a little bit of height, the Queen Wedge II Black shoes are ideal! They keep the basic design of the traditional flats, except of course when concerning their wedge. And their golden details stand out really well on their black background. 

It’s on the coldest days that we use our warmest and cosiest pieces, and one of the materials that are exactly that is velvet. So, Melissa created some models for its Autumn / Winter collection 2016 covered with this material, thus offering a velvety and very soft texture. These flocked shoes appear both on a very simple and basic design as well as on a more elaborated and with more details, exemplified on the images below. And the best of all is that there are in several colours: black, blue, green, burgundy… Thus, you’ll always be ready for this season!

I believe that it’s pretty obvious to guess which was the inspiration for this model… Surely that every fan of the film and book would love to have these Ultragirl Alice Clear Black Red flat shoes, which invoke, of course, the classic Disney animated film “Alice in Wonderland”. The detail of the suits is so original and the fact that they’re clear allow you to make many outfit combinations. Aren’t they absolutely wonderful?
