For some time now we’re accustomed to seeing crazy shoes with incredible prints, or clothes with different motifs. However, has this trend come to stay or, on the contrary, will go away without any pity or glory? On today’s post, we look into some of the prints that have set trend in the last years, and that have without a doubt surprise us all. Do you want to learn more? Click here and keep reading.
Who has never bought clothes with a very eye-catching print, raise their hand! However, I’m sure that most of us have been carried away by this prints trend. And that’s normal, since prints are bold, but at the same time they can be the perfect accessory for our looks. That’s why at EscapeShoes we want to dedicate this post to prints lovers and to those that still aren’t, by going through the ones that have set the fashion panorama, and to give you the push that you need to be more daring with them.
To do this, we’ll classify the prints into four groups: animal, floral, ethnic and abstract. Are you ready to start? Let’s go!
Animal Prints
It’s obvious that we start by talking about this type of design, since it’s without a doubt the one that has caused most commotion in the fashion world. Especially the very well-known leopard print. Perhaps you agree with me when I say that it’s a very risky print, but, when matched with the suitable clothes and accessories, it can give a very good result. Look at the first image, it looks perfect with a neutral look and gives you the fun and bold touch that you need:
On the second image, the python ankle boots with sequins, from Xuz, are handmade with high quality leather that simulates, thanks to its patterns, the scales of a snake. This is another ground-breaking animal print, with a more serious and classic look than the leopard print. It’s guaranteed success!
Floral Prints
This type of print is a classic and surely you already have one in the wardrobe. I love it! Mainly when there’s good weather. Those with small flowers are easier to match and give a youthful and relaxed touch to your looks. While the ones that present bigger flowers have a more formal and elegant look. A floral skirt’s a must in any wardrobe. And, what do you think about these trousers with big orange flowers over a navy blue background? And next to them, the Classic Slip-On Liberty Multifloral from Vans, one of the most recent arrivals at EscapeShoes.
Ethnical and Geometrical Prints
They’ve been a hit at any store and they’re irresistible because of their infinite possibilities. Between us, it’s the print that I like the most. Now that it’s starting to get cold, I feel like wearing a jacket with tribal motifs and ethnic colours. And I can’t deny that I love shoes with geometrical motifs, or don’t you think the same after seeing these Doodle White platform sneakers from SixtySeven? They’re easy to match due to their colours and their simplicity. They don’t go unnoticed!
Abstract Prints
We get closer to the end of this post, with abstract prints. What do I mean by abstract? They’re those that mix colours, drawings and shapes without following a specific pattern, which is why they’re such a versatile print. Since they’ve many different colours and shades, they can be matched really well and give a very special touch to each look. At EscapeShoes, we’ve some models that surely won’t leave you indifferent.
For example, the Vans Cosmic Cloud, on the first image, with colours that go from white to purple, by going through different shades of pink. It’s a perfect contrast with the black instep, toecap and heel, and with the white laces and side stripes. Appropriate to wear at school or at work, to go out with friends or to go for a walk. Slightly more discreet, but equally original, they’re the Vans Zip Marble, on the second image. In different shades of grey, they’re practical sneakers that match with any colour.
And here we end our selection of fashion prints. Now we want to know which one is your favourite for this season! And if you want to find more models with different prints, pay us a visit at EscapeShoes!
