Spring summer trends

Get ready in advance!

When the Christmas season comes, many of us only want the warm and sunny days to arrive, so that we can again show off the cool and colourful outfits that we like so much! Isn’t that right? And if that wasn’t enough, every designer and brand starts to announce what the next trends will be for those days, which only increases more our desire for those sunny days to arrive! That’s why today on this EscapeShoes blog post, we’ll talk about a few trends that caught our eye the most and that surely be around everywhere during this following season that’s yet to come. Shall we?

Stripes

Stripes are that trend that’ll never be truly away, which is great! In this day and age, it’s already considered a basic, like a classic black dress. No matter if they’re vertical, horizontal or crossed, they always look great! If you like the naval look, you can choose a striped t-shirt with a pair of white trousers and a pair of moccasins, and if you prefer a much simpler look, you can always wear a white shirt, a pair of jeans and a pair of striped espadrilles! The combinations are infinite, and so are the colours!

Pastel colours

This is probably the trend that I’m most eager to follow! I love pastel colours and light colours in general, and the fact that I can choose to wear a colourful outfit without having to wear such vibrant colours that sometimes can be too much. In this spring/summer 2017, lilac, aqua green and peach will be in high demand and they’re colours that look great alone or matched. And you, what do you think?

Denim and blue

Denim’s a trend that, such like stripes, has been with us for many years. Either it’s jeans, shirts or accessories! This year, denim and blue are joined together, since dark blue and white prints are really in fashion right now, especially floral, like the one of the picture below. They’re two very versatile trends that can be used together in a more monochrome outfit, or separate for more colourful and fun outfits.

Pompons and fringes

This trend appeared about a year ago and has come to stay! Especially in shoes! If you love colour, then we’re sure that you’ll love this trend! Imagine a simple pair of sandals, to which are added pompons and fringes to offer a cheerful and fun touch! They’d look great, don’t you think so? Or perhaps in jackets or shirts? They’re everywhere! As soon as you see this trend appear in stores and in new collections, you’ll want nothing else, believe it!
