The New Xuz Collection arrives

One of the favourite brands of our customers arrives this season with renovated looks, original designs and very careful and detailed creations with the traditional style. Of course we’re talking about Xuz, a women’s shoes brand of Portuguese origins. Don’t miss its new models today, on the EscapeShoes blog!

With the arrival of spring, we open our doors to the new collection of a brand that sets trends, full of style and unique and original designs. Xuz makes each piece handmade, while taking care of any detail and always incorporating current fashion elements in truly creative items to which is hard to resist.

This season we find, among its shoes, some that seem familiar or models that we recognize from other years, with small changes that innovate while keeping the brand’s essence. We also find new models, very charming and with surprising details. Are you curious? Then, keep reading today’s post, since we’ll show you some of the new products for spring and summer.

We’ve prepared a small selection to show some of the surprises that are waiting for you in this Xuz collection. Of course, you’ll find clogs and sandals, spectacular high heels, robust platforms made of alder wood and leather worked in the most original way, but this year, its proposals include some details that won’t leave you indifferent.

Cut Leather:

It’s well known that this Portuguese brand makes wonders with leather, by playing with shapes and colours. This season, get ready for the leather details, cut in wavy shapes, like the ones that these two models present:

They’re the clogs With Cuttings VA1316, on the first photograph, and the clogs With Cuttings VP0716. Both made of leather with a row of silver studs that surround the perimeter of the wooden platform. In both cases, the leather’s cut across the instep and the trims are outlined by the seam in a lighter shade. They’re perfect to use in a casual and relaxed outfit with skinny jeans or simple dresses.

Embroideries:

We’ve already seen embroidered details in previous collections, and this year Xuz again plays with threads to create drawings and patterns on the leather. For example, the clogs With Embroidered Arrows VB0116-CS, made of brown suede, on the first image, or the clogs With Aztec Embroidery VA2016-C, made of smooth dark grey leather.

Fabrics and textures:

The base of all Xuz models is leather, either smooth or suede, but sometimes, while looking for contrast and mixture of textures, some items present pieces made of other materials that are able to achieve different effects, thus making an essential part of the design. It’s the case of the high heeled clogs With Lace VA1616, whose instep is decorated with a lace fabric made of cotton. Also the Triple Strap sandals 40333, on the second photo, play with the mixture of fabrics, in a braiding of thin rope over which is stitched super thin colourful metallic chains.

Colourful elastics:

Finally, one of the novelties that catch our eyes the most this spring is the elastic straps with colourful prints that some models include around the ankle. Look closely:

On the first image, the high heeled sandals Pink Elastic Grey, formed by two dark grey leather pieces that decorate the instep elegantly, adjust to the ankle thanks to the wide and resistant elastic that they present on the back. In the same manner, the clogs With Green Elastic, with a wide platform, have this fun detail that contrasts with the leather’s dark colour.
