Vans – Shoes for freaks?

Then, welcome to the club! At EscapeShoes, we like series and today we’ll talk about the shoes that two characters of one of our favourite shows use. They’re two somewhat peculiar scientists. One of them still lives with his mother, and the other stays mute around women… And both are huge fans of Vans Off the Wall. Do you already know what series is this?

BINGO! It’s the successful show: The Big Bang Theory. It’s about a very amusing group of friends, crazy about science and superheroes. Like them, we consider ourselves freaks, but of shoes, and we’ve found out that we’ve something in common: we all like Vans.

If you already know the story of these characters and you’ve already heard of Howard Wolowitz and Rajesh Koothrappali, then there’s no need for me to tell you that Vans is always part of their outfits, and that they’ve two completely different styles. However, if you still don’t know today’s protagonist, keep reading. We’ll tell you everything, but no spoilers!

Howard Wolowitz

It’s without a doubt the character with the most extravagant look of the group, always trying to catch your eye. You can’t deny that it’s bold, and he matches his Vans, always colourful, with clothes that really contrast, like printed or plaid shirts, gaudy trousers and long belts with very original buckles.

His style is much more discreet, but he always has an amusing piece like a knit vest or a colourful shirt.
