In 2018 there’s going to be a very important celebration, Xuz will be 10 years old! Since 2008 we’ve been able to enjoy its gorgeous shoes, from clogs to sandals, from boots to booties, well, a little bit of everything! Its slogan “Handmade Lovers” shows the passion and dedication in making shoes while using traditional and handmade techniques, thus there’s no pair that’s the same as the other, each one’s truly unique. However, these clogs that we’ll show you on this EscapeShoes blog post will be even more exclusive! To celebrate its anniversary, Xuz gave us the opportunity of designing our very own model, come get to know it!

We’ve to admit, when we received the brand’s proposal of creating a model in order to celebrate its 10 years of existence, we’re ecstatic! Even though it was something we never did before, we’re excited by the numerous combinations that we could make, but more still for having the opportunity of being part of something so special.

As mentioned previously, many ideas went through our heads when it came to decide on what our model should look like. However, then we thought about what represented Xuz. Clogs, of course, but something more! The brand always stood out for its concept of reinventing, of taking traditional shoes and making them more current. With this in mind, we decided to take a clogs model that were a hit back then, but now in a colour that’s easier to match and other small touches. Without further ado, we present to you the Brown Xuz Clogs with Lace!

As you can see, they’re quite simple yet full of charm! Their lace makes a beautiful contrast with the suede’s dark shade and, together with the studs they offer a rustic and at the same time feminine touch. Moreover, as you must already know, lace details are really in fashion nowadays! Obviously we also could not mention their alder sole, to which the fans of this Portuguese brand are already used to. This type of wood’s used for its low weight and superb resistance, in order to guarantee comfortable and everlasting pairs! More importantly, these clogs look so pretty worn, as the majority of Xuz shoes, and that’s a more than proven fact!
