New Xuz Collection 2015 2016

The people that are fans of Xuz since the beginning should know that there are two main colours that usually appear in its collections: brown and grey. Of course, throughout the years, more colours were added, among which green, honey, gold, beige, red, blue, pink, white and Bordeaux. However, both brown and grey are always present each season. And who could forget its Black By Xuz line, which offers us wonderful and gorgeous models mainly in black!

However, this autumn and winter 2015, this Portuguese brand presented us a colour like never seen before! It’s a special shade of brown, but it’s so dark that even seems black at first glance. Isn’t it great! It continues to be a colour distinctive from black, but also very easy to match with other colours. With low heel

Even though we talk about dark brown, the truth is that the brand itself doesn’t give it that name. It usually appears only as brown, so only seeing the models with your very own eyes can you actually confirm this really original shade.

And what type of shoes will we show you in this category of low heels? Well, if there’s something that cannot be missing in a Xuz winter collection is ankle boots! They always have an unmistakable design, easy to identify with the brand and that is able to combine both a rustic and modern style.

As you look at the two images above, both models seem practically similar, right? Well, that’s because they are! The only difference is their sole.

The first pair of ankle boots With Feather Brown have the traditional sole made of alder wood. This type of wood is many times used by Xuz due to its durability and lightness. Another characteristic of their items that have this alder wood sole is that they usually have a strip on top, made of the same leather as the rest of the shoes, carefully nailed to the sole with small studs, imitating nails. It’s decorative finish that reinforces the cowboy style of the ankle boots.

The ankle boots With Feather Brown on the second image also have a wooden heel, but made of a different type, equally resistant and light. On the other hand, they don’t have a platform, but a layer of non-sticky rubber underneath, in order to provide you traction. And what is the final result? It’s a pair of beautiful and quality ankle boots, at a slightly more accessible price.

Other small details you may have noticed in these two Xuz models is their tribal embroidery on the front and the bootstrap on the top of the shaft, at the back, to help you put them on more easily. With high heel

Something that hasn’t been mentioned so far is regarding the type of leather used to make the majority of these dark-coloured models. In truth, it’s a very special type of leather. Do you want to know what it is? It is goatskin leather, sometimes called Morocco leather! And what are its advantages? Well, it has the same durability that you can find in good quality leathers, but it’s more malleable and more water-resistant than usual. Perfect for this season of autumn and winter!

As mentioned in the title of this section, both these models are high heels, but can you notice another similarity between the two? It’s the alder wood sole, of course! In reality, both the heel and the platform have brown rubber underneath, to offer you a good grip.

They even have the same drawing embroidered on the toecap! These fringes almost reach the floor, which creates a beautiful effect in contrast with their brown heel, as you can see on the second image.
