Always have your shoes neat and tidy!
Since we know that you’ve loved our first post about ideas to store shoes, we’ve come back now for round two, with more original ideas to keep your shoes neat and tidy. Either you’ve many or few shoes, we’re sure that at least one of these ideas will be useful to you. In fact, you can even save up money by using materials that you may have around the house, thus creating a storage space that it’s not the usual shoe closet that many times can be too small for that many shoes. Yes, we know how you feel…
We’ve ideas from small and more discreet storage to storage where you can exhibit your shoes as works of art. If you’re curious, keep reading this post and if you’ve used one of these ideas, let us know on the comments. We want to know!
Pallet
We start with a bang with this simple and easy to do idea. Just find a wooden pallet and paint it to your liking for a more creative and colourful look or simply varnish it for a more rustic look. Then, just screw it to the wall and place your shoes between the wooden slats. Easy, right? This method perhaps doesn’t work as well with small shoes, but you can also place them on the sides! And you can join more pallets according to the quantity of shoes that you have!
Wine crates
If you love to drink an occasional glass of wine, then you must already have a place to store it… But, have you ever thought to store something inside the crates other than wine? For example, your shoes? You can find these wooden crates in many prices at a low price and they’re ideal to store shoes, because this way you can see them without rummaging around and without creating a mess! Such like pallets you can stack as many crates as many shoes you have!
Ottomans
This idea’s perfect if you have a small house and want to have as much space as possible! If you’ve an ottoman, or even a trunk, you can use this idea. You just need a fabric, it can even be an old rag that you don’t use anymore, and stitch it or glue to the inside by leaving spaces to store your shoes. This way, your shoes will be really visible and not all over the place, thus being able to find them and keep them organized.
Hangers
On our first post where we’ve talked about ideas to store shoes, we also gave you an idea with hangers, but more directed towards boots and booties. This time, the suggestion that we give you is more directed towards sandals, flats and flip flops. Just bend the edges of a metallic hanger, like those weaker ones that we many times bring home when you go shopping for clothes. You can even decorate the hanger like how you can see on the image below, to have a more unique touch! This is a way to keep your shoes more organized and compact!
However, you already know that, before a new storage space, there’s nothing better than a brand-new pair of shoes! And do you know where you can find them? At EscapeShoes, of course!
