The leather that they are made of is smooth and especially soft to the touch. Its chocolate brown colour has a uniform surface with a matte finish, but on the toecap and heel, it presents a glossier finish. What surprised me the most when I first wore them was how malleable their leather is, in addition of resistant.

On the front, they have a prominent seam made with beige thread. Another one of their most characteristic details is the straps that are around the ankle. As you can see, they start stitched underneath the sole, at the height of the foot arch. They cross each other over the instep and are fastened on the side with a metallic buckle. The strap that contains the buckle on its extremity goes through a strap that is on the back. It is important to point out that the buckle has Cubanas’ name and hides an elastic piece that follows your movements as you walk.
